The Regulated Marketing team delivers timely, compliant, and helpful communications and materials to our consumer plan members throughout their plan lifecycles. The Marketing Operations Specialist, Senior will report to the Senior Manager of Regulated Marketing. In this role you will manage the end-to-end development and delivery of plan materials and member communications for our consumer business lines: Medi-Cal, Medicare, and Individual & Family Plans. You are a project management and marketing process expert who is as comfortable consolidating copyedits from internal stakeholders as you are creating detailed requirements and data grids for print vendors and digital delivery teams. You will be the one who ensures we deliver mandated materials on time, compliantly, and with a high level of accuracy.

Your Work In this role, you will: Manage the end-to-end development and delivery of plan materials and member communications Act as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders, including creatives, business partners, and vendors Oversee content creation, based on a firm understanding of the state and federal regulations and CMS models, best practices in member communications, internal research from our members and brokers, and input from internal stakeholders Create and manage detailed project plans to ensure each phase of a communication is delivered on time, with alignment from all stakeholders Manage jobs in Workfront and occasionally Jira to guide creative, business partner reviews, translations, digital online posting, etc. Develop artifacts such as version grids, bill of materials, and detailed business requirements to ensure successful and accurate creation and delivery Help guide and manage production leveraging a basic understanding of print and email methodologies Take annual and bi-annual compliance trainings in the Medicare, Medi-Cal and IFP lines of business Support the creation of materials in alternate languages and formats working with our translation vendors Help build and test content inside document automation environments (on select materials) Qualifications
Your Knowledge and Experience Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Requires at least 5 years of prior relevant experience in marketing, preferably in health care Requires experience with marketing materials development including ability to write clear and well-conceived creative briefs Requires experience with data management (e.g., grids, reporting) to combine datasets and review content for quality assurance using Excel functions (e.g., functions, pivot tables, filters) Requires experience with project management to build detailed project plans for research, creative development, production, and delivery of plan communications Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, Project), Tableau, Adobe Pro, Workfront, Jira, or similar systems strongly desired Experience with proofreading and auditing materials with strong attention to detail and ability to cross-reference member-level data, version grids and bills of materials smartly against rendered proofs strongly desired Pay Range: The pay range for this role is: $ 89100.00 to $ 133650.00 for California. Note: Please note that this range represents the pay range for this and many other positions at Blue Shield that fall into this pay grade.
