Job Description
We are on the hunt for an Email Marketing Specialist to join our team based in Alpharetta, Georgia. In this role, you will be tasked with the development and implementation of marketing automation strategies, including triggered flows and enhanced personalization. This position provides a short term contract employment opportunity in the industry.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement strategic approaches for customer segmentation, content, messaging, campaigns, and triggered communications across the customer lifecycle.
• Create, monitor, and adjust complex lifecycle optimizer flows, triggers, and automations with static, dynamic, and personalized content.
• Coordinate and manage marketing promotions, loyalty, seasonal hiring, fundraising, transactional, cart-abandonment, and re-engagement campaigns and triggered communications.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to launch SMS/MMS and mobile app push notifications.
• Develop and execute an email marketing calendar, including multi-part marketing campaigns across email, SMS/MMS, and push notifications.
• Translate approved campaign branding and messaging to email, SMS/MMS, and push notifications using templates and approved copy.
• Ensure accuracy, quality, and brand consistency across all touchpoints in layout, design, links, subject lines, list segments, and message copy.
• Oversee the testing process to ensure emails are accurate and deploy on time.
• Handle the end-to-end production process for campaign deployments, including post-campaign analysis.
• Monitor, report and analyze key email metrics while proactively communicating opportunities, trends, key insights and challenges.
• Resolve technical issues, list segmentation, and other aspects of email/web execution, collaborating with internal IT resources, external developers, and Email Service Provider as needed
• Proficiency in Adobe Dreamweaver is necessary for creating and editing email templates.• Extensive experience with CRM systems to manage and analyze customer interactions and data.
• Familiarity with an Email Marketing Platform to streamline email communication and enhance efficiency.
• Knowledge of Email Service Providers to ensure smooth email delivery to recipients.
• Experience with Exact Target for managing customer journey, email campaigns, and mobile messages.
• Ability to conduct AB Testing to optimize and improve email campaign performance.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.
• Understanding of Best Practices in email marketing to ensure all campaigns comply with industry standards.
• Ability to develop strategies to increase Brand Awareness through email marketing.
• Experience in Campaign Planning to define every detail of the campaign and its execution.
