Introduction

Thomas J. Watson said it best: "Good design is good business." Designers and researchers at IBM Cloud work to create experiences that work together, work the same, and work for our clients. Our team is dedicated to making IBM Cloud the most open and secure public cloud for business with a next-generation hybrid cloud platform, advanced data and AI capabilities, and deep enterprise expertise across 20 industries.

About IBM Cloud Design & Research

We are a global team of around 100 designers and researchers, committed to designing world class cloud products. Our global team includes all levels of seniority from interns to design executives and is located across the USA, Hungary, the UK, India, Israel, and Germany.

User Experience Research at IBM

User Experience (UX) Researchers working on IBM Cloud focus on uncovering and defining the user problems our teams need to solve as well as evaluating if proposed solutions solve these problems as intended. Based on a deep understanding of user needs, motivations, and behaviors, UX Researchers work with designers, product managers, and engineers to ensure that users find our solutions usable, valuable, and compelling. The IBM Cloud UX Research team spans across the entire user journey of IBM Cloud products and services by aligning our projects to the overall product roadmap rather than being embedded within product design squads. Each UX Researcher supports UX Research Operations initiatives as well.
