The Technical Trainer will prepare training material and travel to end users, representatives, and dealer locations to train personnel on all levels of JVCKENWOOD products. In this role, you will also perform Technical Support Specialist related work when not preparing training material or training.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • You will define and develop yearly market penetration strategies identifying key major accounts to penetrate and configure healthcare solutions.
  • Improve sales and marketing solutions for JVCKENWOOD healthcare products by directly securing sales.
  • Resolves customer issues regarding sales and technical service.
  • Review operational records and reports to project sales and determine profitability.
  • Prepares, monitors, and manages budgets and expenditures.
  • Confers or consults with department heads to plan advertising services and to secure information on equipment and customer specifications.
  • Works with internal resources to determine price schedules and discount rates.
  • Collects, monitors, and analyzes marketing information to determine the focus of sales efforts.
  • Works in cooperation with Sales, Service, Accounting, and Logistics.
  • Designs and implements new sales plans and effective marketing strategies to position the organization competitively and meet/exceed territory objectives.
  • Addresses any issues that arise on accounts.
  • Works in concert with the Healthcare Division Manager and Japan team to develop and refine strategies within our key accounts.
  • Facilitates workflow discovery sessions with key customers and advance solutions using solution-selling methodologies.
  • Arrangement to participate in national trade show conferences as required.
  • Provide simple technical support services to users.
  • Setup of IT peripherals connections.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
  • Frequent travel, including overnights

Working Relationships:

Reports to the Communications Technical Training Supervisor, daily interaction with dealer accounts, self-servicing end users, and manufacturer’s sales representatives. Interacts moderately with repair depots, Sales, Order Desk, and Tuning personnel.

Problem Solving and Decision Making:

  1. Determine the level of training required at each seminar.
  2. Determine the best way to prepare all training material.
  3. Have the ability to work around travel obstacles.
  4. All problem-solving and decision-making abilities of a Technical Support Specialist.

Working Conditions:

Works in general maintenance environment.

Duties and responsibilities performed normally require physical requirements including exposure to dirt, fumes, and noise. Work may require a considerable amount of bending, stooping, squatting, and lifting of materials up to 70 pounds.

Some travel by air and automobile.
