Job Summary:
The Manager of Education Content Creation is a key role that supports the development of strategy and execution of best-in-class education for Beautynova. The position focuses on the development, adaptation, and delivery of education concepts and materials for the milk_shake®, DEPOT® and Medavita brands, including program design, training methodology utilizing all Brand CI guidelines across all channels and learning platforms. This includes but is not limited to written and video / digital content, curriculum formatting, training design, language translation for both in-person and digital formats.
This role works in collaboration with Education, Marketing, R&D and Creative to deliver best in class training content and materials. This position works closely with the milk_shake®, DEPOT®, and Medavita global brand teams to develop programs that can be implemented in North America and then scaled globally across all regions, as needed.

Responsibilities:
Program & Training Development
- Oversee the development of curriculum for all milk_shake®, DEPOT® and Medavita products, concepts and services
- Collaborate with Global and Americas Field Education team for curriculum development in line with strategic brand equity and strategic direction of company.
- Development of training programs / product knowledge and brand experiences for all channels
- Supervise all Curriculum development projects in conjunction with Americas Field Education, Global Education (when applicable) Marketing & R&D to insure on-time delivery of lesson plans, support materials, leader’s guides and participant materials to Sales / Education teams.
- Manage translation process for all curriculum versioning (PRO & Retail), supporting language versions for Latin America & Canada.
- Responsible for core curriculum assets (presentations, education videos, manuals, FAQs, Product Guides) as well as any special requests from countries.
- Continued development of methods / platforms / technology to drive innovation in education delivery – online, mobile, webcast, apps, etc.
- Communication with Regional Education Managers on educational initiatives, strategies and direction.
- Forecast & plan all deliverables with resources to support goals
- Stay ahead of industry trends & competitions in professional categories through ongoing education, product testing & research
- Collaborate in planning, execution & delivery of all trainings (with global team as needed) with all channel teams to ensure best-in-class results tied to sales initiatives
- Function as lead Admin on community forums / groups on relevant social media platforms
- Lead engagement with forum and social media channel participants to create community and conversation, responding to inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Collaborate with Technical Education / Hotline Manager as needed for technical questions
- Oversee LMS Platform (milk_shake University) for North America. Function as lead Admin and communication lead for all participants / enrollees. Manage content on platform and collaborate with SVP and Sr. Manager to develop strategy and plan for future expansion.
- Observation of the market, competition and new technologies
- Observe and report new training concepts in relationship to hairdressing education and communication related skills
- Ensure that knowledge of competitors remains current
- Manage budget and expenses pertaining to curriculum activities and materials
- Support education department with events as needed
- Maintain general hairdressing skills and knowledge to a contemporary level
- Manage additional projects, deliverables and timelines as needed
- Minimum 15 years of experience in the haircare industry in an education management position
- Professional licensed stylist preferred
- Expert knowledge of developing trainings for different learning styles
- Inspirational leadership style with excellent training skills
- Competence in managing budgets and financial targets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; confidence when addressing both key stakeholders and new audiences alike
- Strategic thinker with examples of solving problems and taking initiative
- Outstanding team player who can work collaboratively with all internal & external partners.
- Flexible and adaptable with the ability to embrace and facilitate change.
- Position requires up to 30% travel (Domestic & International)
