Agency Overview: 160over90 is owned by Endeavor, one of the biggest names in culture and entertainment in the world. The creative department here is like that of any other agency but we aren’t bogged down by dated holding company models and we aren’t owned by a consulting firm. The ideas are boss, able to be taken to the world in whatever way they work best via advertising, branding, social media, PR, experiential, digital and more. This role will fully support Obsidianworks. Role: The Head of Creative is responsible for leading and inspiring a team of talented creatives, encouraging a collaborative work environment, and challenging the team to push ideas to the next level. The Head of Creative along with Account and Strategy Leads ensure client satisfaction by developing strong relationships with clients, safeguarding program delivery, and maintaining and evolving Obsidianworks quality of creative work. Responsibilities: Set the vision and standard for creative department and agency. Lead creative team, strategy, and productive brainstorming while also being an individual contributor. Develop and enhance creative process. Maintain overall satisfaction and retention of clients on assigned programs. Collaborate with leadership team in planning both short- and long-term strategic objectives for the client. Capacity to write clear and inspiring program / creative briefs. Direct the operation of client programs including budgeting, adherence to timelines, and marketing communications plans. Work with strategy and account team to ensure client timelines are met. Lead creative teams through entire pitch process. Participate in edits and proofing of content delivered to clients. Identify opportunities for improvement. Accountable for making sound decisions surrounding the financial performance. Give direction and feedback to all creatives and help push projects forward. Collaborate with colleagues in other divisions across in the 160over90/Endeavor network as necessary to develop client programs. Travel as needed for site visits, client and leadership meetings, activations, etc. Qualifications: Strong background advertising, marketing, or relevant field with an Art background. Minimum 15+ years' related experience in an agency field and 3+ years in a Leadership capacity. Experience working with Retail clients. Managed a creative team and owned performance management, reviews, employee development, etc. Willing to be an individual contributor and thrives in a collaborative and startup environment. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal – not afraid to have difficult discussions. Ability to juggle several projects at one time. Strong acumen in leading pitch process from start to finish. Candidates must provide their portfolio URL or as an attachment to be considered.
