What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree required; Doctorate degree preferred
- Licensed Occupational Therapist
- Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) preferred, but not required
- 1+ years of experience in an outpatient hand therapy setting preferred
- Valid CPR License
- Experience with EMR software preferred
- Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and implement treatment plans for patients with upper extremity diagnoses.
- Fabricate custom orthoses and provide therapeutic interventions.
- Document patient care data accurately and in compliance with guidelines and regulations.
- Educate patients and their support systems on treatment plans and home care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.
- Lead and mentor support staff, including COTA and OT aides.
