Work Location: They need to be local to our 6165 Gunbarrel Avenue, Boulder, CO 80301 office and our 200 *** Dr. Lafayette, CO 80026 office This person must be local to Colorado and available to work onsite. Currently working 3 days in the office and the rest remote but that could change to more days in the office.

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for designing and creating packaging and product artwork for supporting the manufacturing requirements for all products produced by the Boulder Packaging & Labeling Operations Innovation Group. Must incorporate customer requirements and ensure standardization of artwork development in compliance with *** design standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Responsible for the graphic design requirements for packaging and product artwork, including the production of labels, lidstock, and display box artwork; support for formal artwork approvals; and maintenance of packaging labeling development procedures. • Verifies vendor proofs, makes corrections, or communicates changes to ensure all printed components match approved artwork files. • Effectively manages multiple projects, changes in project scope, and shifting priorities in order to maintain project requirements and ensure deadlines are met. • Collaborates with department and cross-functional peers to ensure proper resolution to questions and issues that arise during the artwork development process.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: • Excellent communication and organizational skills. • Ability to multi-task and strong attention to detail. • Understanding of label printing applications. • Proficient with design software, including Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat, and Microsoft Office. • Proficient in using MAC Operating Systems • Ability to work with department peers and middle-management within the marketing, engineering, and manufacturing functional groups.
EDUCATION Required: • Four-year college degree.
EXPERIENCE: • Significant previous experience in graphic design production. • Experience in the development of labeling for the medical device industry preferred.
