We are seeking a talented Technical Writer to join our team and contribute to creating clear, comprehensive, and user-friendly documentation for our products and services.

Responsibilities

• Develop, edit, and maintain technical documentation, including company policies and procedures, user manuals, installation guides, product specifications, and online help content.
• In a web based environment, edit and manage online technical documentation on company websites using WordPress and other platforms as required (Dropbox, etc.)
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather information and translate technical details into accessible language for diverse audiences.
• Ensure consistency and adherence to style guidelines and branding across all documentation.
• Assist in the creation of training materials, FAQs, and other support content as needed.
• Review and update existing documentation to reflect product updates or changes.
• Use tools and software to organize, publish, and manage documentation effectively.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in technical writing or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner without relying solely on AI platforms.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with documentation tools such as WordPress, Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, or equivalent software.
• Familiarity with retail construction or manufacturing industries is a plus.
• Reliable internet connection and a suitable remote work environment.
