One of the Electronics Manufacturing company is hiring for a Localization Producer role (French), offering flexibility in work hours and days, with a commitment of 8-16 hours per week.
Job title: Localization Producer - French
Hourly Pay: $50 to $55 W2
Location: Remote
Duration: 4 Month Contract
Summary:
- Seeking a highly motivated Localization Producer to support the creation, maintenance, and expansion of its French Developer website and related marketing materials. The ideal candidate will have a passion for precise translation and effective writing, with strong interpersonal, prioritization, and communication skills. The Localization Producer will ensure top-quality standards are met while handling multiple tasks and working closely with both local teams and international partners.
Responsibilities:
- Localize technical marketing content.
- Translate urgent content.
- Review and edit vendor translations, providing constructive feedback to enhance localization quality.
- Collaborate remotely with teams in France to review content.
- Work closely with engineering teams to test the website.
- Maintain style guides, translation memory, and a database of terms.
- Assist with miscellaneous web and email production projects.
Qualifications:
- Fluency in French (fr-FR).
- Exceptional translation and writing skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- Solid proficiency in both written and spoken English.
- Ability to think clearly and approach problems flexibly.
- Proven ability to work independently, organize, plan, and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Willingness to listen, challenge, and commit when taking on new assignments.
- Familiarity with WorldServer or similar translation software.
- Basic HTML editing, web production, and text processing skills.
- Familiarity with digital products and information technologies.
