Job Title: Packaging Engineer

Location: New Albany, OH

Duration: 18 Months

Description:

Candidate is going to need to be flexible with shifts.

Schedule:

This position should not exceed 40 hours a week but some overtime may be needed occasionally. Working hours flexibility is required as per project execution needs. Extended, second, and third shifts will be required as per project execution time needs. Monday to Friday with possible occasional weekend shifts (candidates will be able to volunteer for weekend shifts).

10% travel may be required.

Ideal Candidate: 2+ years of Pharmaceutical Packaging working experience. Knowledge of data analysis, CGMP documentation, and Packaging Equipment Validation.

Shift Hours:

  1. 60% of the time will be 8 AM - 5 PM ET.
  2. 40% of the remaining time will be off regular hours for 2nd or 3rd shift, Monday-Friday (1st is from 6 AM to 2 PM, 2nd is from 2 PM to 10 PM, 3rd is from 10 PM to 6 AM).

Working Environment: Primarily working on the manufacturing floor, supporting the manufacturing line.

Job Details:

Position involves support of senior staff in the initiation, design, and delivery of projects, particularly for Packaging Equipment C&Q, Characterization, and Validation. Employ basic engineering skills and practices to gather user requirements and translate them into technical documentation for execution by third-party firms. Assist with project definition by performing engineering studies and assessments for Packaging Systems installations. Perform field evaluations of existing systems and provide engineering design recommendations.

Skills:

Experience working in a CGMP Company.
