McKinley Marketing Partners is partnering with a well-known packaging company, and together we are seeking a Project Manager. The Creative Services Project Manager will report to the Vice President, Creative Services and will be based at the Atlanta, Georgia office for three days a week, with the flexibility to work remotely for two days a week.

Responsibilities

Management and Governance of Bynder (Digital Asset Management System)

  • Ensure effective asset organization, including file-naming structure, taxonomy, and metadata/tagging system.
  • Set up collections and landing pages.
  • Manage and edit Brand Guidelines and the Brand Center.
  • Oversee platform administration – users, roles, and asset groups.
  • Train the marketing and communications network on platform use (quarterly).
  • Act as the primary liaison with the Bynder vendor to address any issues.

Management of Major Project/Campaign Workflows

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple creative projects and campaigns.
  • Distribute assignments to creative teams based on roles, responsibilities, workload, skill sets, and deadlines.
  • Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with internal customers and the creative team.
  • Develop and maintain a design concept deck, updating information based on meetings and assets developed.
  • Facilitate communication between the creative team and internal customers to maintain project momentum.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, addressing roadblocks before they impact deadlines.
  • Review all deliverables prior to customer submission, ensuring they meet quality standards and align with goals.
  • Maintain an up-to-date schedule of all active and upcoming projects, tracking progress and deadlines.
  • Manage project workflows using Monday.com to streamline communications, files, and approvals.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with teams to adjust priorities as needed and provide weekly reports to the Vice President, Creative Services.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations and document lessons learned.

  • Possess extreme attention to detail and a sense of urgency, ensuring timely and accurate project completion.
  • Demonstrate resourcefulness and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask, organize, and collaborate effectively.
  • Manage competing deadlines from various stakeholders.
  • Strong decision-making and prioritization skills to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Highly organized with the ability to schedule, monitor, and adjust deadlines and resources as needed.
  • Excellent people management skills, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.
  • Effective communication of customer requests and assignments to the team, ensuring deadlines are met while managing expectations.
  • Experience with project or traffic management in an agency setting is preferred.
  • Previous experience with Monday.com or a similar project management platform is preferred.
  • Ability to successfully navigate and achieve results in a high-performing, fast-paced, and sometimes ambiguous environment.
