Software Resources has an immediate, long term contract job opportunity for a Paid Search Media Buyer with a major corporation in Orlando, FL. Position is Remote, but must be local to Orlando.


POSITION SUMMARY:
The Paid Search Media Buyer role leads the campaign management of Paid Search or any other paid media channels deemed relevant for the business in domestic markets for theme parks and internal clients/business units (Resorts, Sales/B2B, events, new attractions, etc.) in collaboration with the Paid Search team and Paid Search Sr. Manager. The Paid Search Buyer creates ad copy, uploads, and optimizes campaigns through self-service platforms such as Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising. They are responsible for the perfect management and execution of media budgets.


EXPERIENCE:

  • A minimum of 2 years of media buying experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in paid search.
  • Experience managing $500,000+/year ad spend is a plus.
  • Knowledge of general computer programs and media buying software programs such as Google Ads strongly desired.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Execute all media plans while adhering to established media budgets and timelines.
  • Implement ad taxonomy utilizing Claravine platform.
  • Complete weekly campaign activity reports/analysis, reconcile and manage media budgets on a daily basis.
  • Monitor campaigns in-progress and make any necessary updates recommended in partnership with media analytics team.
  • Analyze large quantities of structured data utilizing analytics tools, reports and dashboards to detect patterns, opportunities and insights that drive channel strategy.
  • Partner across the Paid Search team to ensure campaign tactics are driving desired results and make cross-team optimizations as necessary.
  • Partner across channel teams to ensure driving efficiencies within campaigns and delivering maximum ROI cross-functionally.
  • Write ad copy that aligns with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
  • Collaborate with other departments and groups within: Brand, Legal, License Partners, Project Managers, Creative, Content & Creative Strategy, Integrated Marketing Communications.
  • Facilitate the ad approval process by managing feedback and making revisions from different departments.
  • Develop media buys and execute with existing vendors utilizing a variety of industry standard best practices.
  • Provide new ideas to support business strategies and goals.
  • Collaborate with team to stay on current industry trends and media opportunities.
  • Direct day-to-day vendor/partner relationships including taking meetings with existing vendors.
  • Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities (KSAs) required.

  • Excellent strategic planning skills with the ability to identify, prioritize and articulate paid media initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of 3rd party tracking, serving and attribution technologies such as Google Campaign Manager, Search Ads 360 or similar.
  • Basic knowledge of in-platform campaign management and optimization techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a deadline oriented environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills with the ability to communicate effectively on the phone, in person and via email.
  • Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting and resolving problems.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies, applications and processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to work directly with internal departments towards issue resolution/project release.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree: Marketing, Business Administration, Computer Science or related.
