Job Description:

Join GDIT and be a part of the team of men and women that solve some of the world's most complex technical challenges. The DTRA I3TS team is currently searching for a Technical Writer for an opportunity in the Washington, DC area.

**GDIT will be recruiting for 2 positions: a JR level and a MID/SR level**

Duties include:

  • Assist the task leadership team in tracking status of all task efforts.
  • Under the direction of the deliverables lead, provide support in developing and coordinating all contractual deliverables. Work with the different delivery teams to solicit content and with the deliverables lead and tech writer to develop the deliverable.
  • Assist Project Scheduler with tracking status of tasks and ensuring IMS is kept current.
  • With input from team leads, develop status reports.
  • For all Theme Team meetings, document meeting minutes.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree; 4 years of additional experience may be substituted for a degree
  • 2-8+ years of technical writing experience to include diagramming and editing
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and Adobe Professional
  • TS/SCI

The likely salary range for this position is $84,334 - $114,098. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location, and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
