Job Title: Production Designer (Print Collateral & Event Materials)
Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Production Designer with experience in print collateral, invitations, and event-related materials. This role will support the creative team by executing the design and production of various marketing collateral, advertising, presentations, and publications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in print design, be proficient in design software, and possess excellent project management skills to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of creative materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Production Support: Assist in the creative development, technical production, and timely execution of various design projects, including print collateral, invitations, event materials, presentations, and publications.
- Collaboration: Work closely with creative leads, production teams, print buyers, and operations teams to ensure materials meet brand standards, are technically sound, and are delivered on time.
- Project Management: Oversee the management of complex design projects, ensuring that all design elements are consistent, accurate, and aligned with the overall project vision.
- Rush Requests: Handle urgent design requests as needed while maintaining high quality and attention to detail.
- Software Proficiency: Utilize design tools such as InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat to create, edit, and finalize designs. Competence in Microsoft PowerPoint and Apple Keynote for presentation work is also required.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of relevant design experience, with a focus on print collateral, invitations, and event-related materials.
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Production Art, Advertising, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat), as well as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and presentation software (Microsoft PowerPoint, Apple Keynote).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to ensure the accuracy and consistency of design work, particularly in print and event-related materials.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Problem Solving: Ability to manage multiple design projects with competing deadlines and handle complex technical design requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with print vendors and understanding print production processes.
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
