THE ROLE OF A COREPOWER YOGA STUDIO COORDINATOR
As a Studio Coordinator (SC), you live your power by supporting the world-class CorePower Yoga studio experience, including coordinating studio operations and holding the studio to the highest health and safety standards. In alignment with our Core Values, you work alongside the Studio Manager to deliver results and sustained growth towards all current company and studio-level goals. The SC role is a part-time, entry-level position that will allow you to learn the business and develop the skillset to operate a studio.
Studio Presence and Guiding the Student Experience
- Act as an ambassador of the CPY Core Values at all times and consistently inspire these values in others.
- Support the Studio Manager in achieving company and studio-level goals, including membership growth, retail sales, community outreach, and programming enrollment.
- Commit to 18 hours in-studio per week of operations coordination and teaching (if certified), including health and safety protocol execution, front desk guidance, and team support.
- Must be flexible with schedule availability within the hourly commitment in service of the studio and team.
- Serve as the studio-level point of contact for students and staff if/when the Studio Manager is not present.
- Support maintaining an appropriate level of studio supply inventory so that all provisions and amenities are available for students at all times.
- Consistently engage and know your studio community; greet students by name and foster community.
Coordinate and Execute Health, Safety and Cleanliness Protocol in the Studio
- Uphold high standards for the studio and ensure that the physical studio space meets the high CPY standards of cleanliness and functionality.
- Follow and execute all current Center for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines when working, cleaning, and training others within the studio.
- Coordinate and hold full studio team and students accountable to studio zone capacities.
- Support communication around Smart Health Protocol to students upon entry and throughout their visit at CPY.
- Act as an extension of the Studio Experience Team (SET), including cleaning the studio and stocking amenities.
Teaching Schedule
Support the studio class schedule by teaching a minimum of 4 classes per week of aligned CPY classes and support the studio through subbing additional classes as needed.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Must demonstrate CorePower Yoga Core Values.
- Excellent oral communication skills, professionalism and exceptional interpersonal skills are required.
- Experience in Customer Service required.
- Completion of a Yoga Alliance certified 200-hour program is preferred.
- Yoga Sculpt teacher training is preferred.
- Familiar and comfortable in studio systems such as the HRIS, intranet, point of sale systems, etc.
- Ability to build relationships with individuals with diverse personalities and styles.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can prioritize while working under multiple deadlines.
THE FINE PRINT
- Commit to 18 hours in studio per week (including teaching, operations admin, and studio coordination).
- Availability must match the needs of the business – morning, evening, weekend and some holiday availability required.
- Must be able to move around the studio space, crouch, reach, and lift up to 25 lbs.
COMPENSATION - $23.00 per hour
