Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sr. UX/UI Designer to act as a Project Lead. This role involves hands-on design responsibilities and requires strong client-facing and presentation skills. The ideal candidate will have experience coming from a consulting firm or digital agency. This project is set to commence in early January 2025.


As a Sr. UX/UI Designer, your role will involve creating and implementing project plans, providing guidance and direction for junior team members, and working closely with the client to present and review UX/UI deliverables.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop interaction and information architecture deliverables for a variety of user interfaces including websites, mobile applications, and business tools.
  2. Conduct user and stakeholder research activities to inform user-centered insights for business solutions.
  3. Lead and participate in project planning, including end-user research, prototype testing, and usability testing.
  4. Collaborate with clients and end-users to gather business requirements and translate them into effective, user-centered interactive experiences.
  5. Develop and document detailed user experience specifications for highly interactive interfaces.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  1. 4+ years of experience as an information architect, interaction designer, or user experience professional.
  2. Experience working in a consulting firm environment is preferred.
  3. Demonstrated ability to produce meaningful and effective UX/UI for complex transactional interfaces, taxonomies and metadata frameworks, and templates for content management systems.
  4. Proficiency with modern technologies (Figma, Miro etc.).
  5. Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Education:

  1. Bachelor's Degree (Master's Degree preferred) in a related field, such as Human-Computer Interaction, Library Sciences, Cognitive Science, Computer Science, etc.
