Description: Reporting to the Head Women’s Basketball Coach, the Women’s Basketball Coordinator of Video and Player Development is responsible for planning, editing, producing, and compiling all video packaging utilized by the women’s basketball coaching staff for scouting, recruiting, and game preparation purposes.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Plans, edits, produces, and compiles all video packaging utilized by the women’s basketball coaching staff for scouting, recruiting, and game preparation purposes.
  • Assists with player development through on court skill workouts and film sessions.
  • Assists with evaluation and recruitment of student-athletes, including daily recruitment, communication with and cultivation of recruits.
  • Maintains a strong working relationship with all members of the women’s basketball coaching staff.
  • Participates frequently in staff meetings, strategy sessions and in game discussions.
  • Represents the women’s basketball program, Hofstra University and The Colonial Athletic Association.
  • All staff members are responsible for complying with the policies and procedures set forth by Hofstra University, the Coastal Athletic Association, the NCAA and the job requirements specific to the particular assignments inherent to women’s basketball.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum one-year relevant work experience.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • This position requires working weekends and holidays and attending athletic events as appropriate.

Salary/Salary Range: $37,000 - $37,462

Additional Information: Hofstra University provides the above salary as a good faith estimate of the starting pay range which considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience and education.
