Savvy, Inc. is hiring: Freelance Creative Director, Writing VSA Partners Chicago

VSA's Creative Practice is responsible for bringing our clients' stories, visions and voices to life. At the intersection of Strategy and Digital, we make ideas tangible and meaningful for the audiences that matter, in a cross-platform, media-agnostic way.
The Freelance Creative Director will achieve and maintain a high quality level for all work produced for assigned projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Lead the development of campaign narratives and creative concepts.
2. Write persuasive and impactful copy for spec work, including taglines, scripts, and campaign messaging.
3. Partner with art directors, designers, and strategists to ensure cohesive execution.
4. Shape pitch materials to deliver a strong and compelling presentation.
5. Present ideas and collaborate with internal stakeholders.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Proven experience as a Creative Director or Senior Copywriter in advertising or marketing.
2. Prior CPG campaign experience.
3. Exceptional writing and storytelling skills; strong understanding of brand voice and tone.
4. A robust portfolio showcasing campaign concepts and pitch work.
5. Clear fluency in social media marketing (e.g., TikTok, IG).
6. Must be thorough, thoughtful, easy to work with, and able to turn around ideas quickly.
7. Ability to think strategically and deliver innovative creative solutions.
8. Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
