Principal - VP - AI Protein Design

A new start-up spun-out from a top-performing core AI lab is now expanding to Boston and seeking additional early-hires at the Principal level and above. The group has developed frontier algorithms for protein design and is now building out a wet-lab for high-throughput generation of very novel data-sets which will set their team apart.

This is the opportunity to take a foundational role in a well-positioned company which has recently received funding.

The team is interested in top-performing technical contributors who can serve as tech lead and grow with the company in a leadership capacity. Relevant areas of expertise would include:

1. Generative AI research
2. Developing Diffusion or flow-matching models for biology
3. Intersection between high-throughput data generation and distributed training of large-scale AI models
