Wedgewood Weddings & Events is seeking a Social Media & PR Manager to lead our digital and PR strategies, ensuring our venues shine across all platforms. This role is ideal for a communications expert who thrives on creating engaging content, managing relationships with media and influencers, and driving brand visibility.

• Develop and implement social media strategies across all platforms to enhance audience engagement and brand awareness.
• Create compelling content tailored to each property’s unique features while maintaining brand consistency.
• Train and support field teams to ensure best practices and cohesive messaging across locations.
• Monitor and engage with community feedback, comments, and messages to foster strong online relationships.

• Develop and execute PR campaigns, write press releases, and manage media outreach to secure positive brand coverage.
• Cultivate relationships with journalists, bloggers, and influencers, coordinating media visits and special events.
• Plan and execute influencer collaborations to maximize brand visibility and engagement.

• Implement crisis communication strategies to protect and manage brand reputation.
• Provide real-time support to property teams in handling sensitive situations and media inquiries.

• Track, analyze, and report on key social media and PR metrics, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement.
• Align PR and social media efforts with broader marketing initiatives to maximize impact.

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in social media management and public relations, with a proven track record in multi-location campaigns.
• Strong writing, editing, and content creation skills, including press release development.
• Experience managing influencer partnerships and media hosting events.
• Proficiency in social media management tools (Hootsuite, Sprout Social) and analytics platforms.
• Ability to lead training sessions and collaborate effectively with property teams.
• Strong strategic thinking, crisis management, and problem-solving skills.
