Senior Desktop Publisher This is a hybrid role, with flexible in-office requirements depending on workload. Overview:

Seeking a senior desktop publishing professional to format and layout proposal deliverables for public and commercial sectors. Work primarily involves Microsoft Word and Excel, with occasional use of PowerPoint and Adobe InDesign. Some deliverables are finalized in Adobe Acrobat. Responsibilities include creating templates, formatting documents, ensuring compliance with solicitation requirements, and adhering to branding standards. The role requires collaboration with proposal managers, coordinators, technical experts, editors, graphic designers, and other team members. Must be able to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and maintain quality standards. Proposal Senior Desktop Publisher Key Responsibilities: Create proposal templates in Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) per client instructions. Format proposals, ensuring proper spacing, headings, margins, tables, and graphics. Update automated fields, such as tables of contents and acronym lists. Assist proposal team members in using templates. Troubleshoot software issues and maintain version control in SharePoint. Conduct compliance checks on formatting and document structure. Edit and place final graphics in proposal documents. Perform quality reviews to minimize errors. Produce and package hard copy and electronic proposals as needed. Provide training on templates and formatting best practices. Qualifications:Required: 4+ years of experience formatting complex documents using advanced Microsoft Word features. Experience with macro-based templates and document formatting in Office 365. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Experience working in Microsoft Teams/SharePoint with multiple authors. Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. US citizenship required due to government contracts. Ability to work extended hours when necessary. Flexibility to work in-office as needed for physical document production. Preferred: Experience with Adobe Acrobat Professional and Creative Cloud. Ability to design content layouts for page-limited documents. Training experience in desktop publishing software.
