About the Opportunity: We are actively hiring and conducting interviews remotely. Positions are currently remote, with potential for onsite meetings in the future. The schedule offers flexibility in terms of both hours and days, with an average commitment of 20 hours per week. Eureka! XR, LLC is seeking a creative UI/UX Designer with a focus on making an impact. Candidates should have experience or interest in interactive immersive technology, rendering, and image processing, and should be eager to contribute innovative ideas. Eureka! XR, LLC is a dynamic startup introducing an extended reality platform to the travel industry, aiming to transform tourism through augmented reality. Our platform empowers organizations and individuals to create and offer augmented reality travel experiences to travelers worldwide. What we're looking for: We're looking for a skilled and talented individual to join our team as an UI/UX Designer in the Immersive Spatial Computing (AR/VR/XR) field. In this role, you'll have the chance to utilize your technical and creative expertise and experience in areas like 3D development and interactive immersive applications. We're particularly interested in candidates with a strong interest or background in augmented reality immersive technologies. We're seeking an ideal candidate who can promote collaboration within a cross-functional team. This team can include but is not limited to a UI/UX designer, software engineers, a product owner and other stakeholders. Your main goal will be to deliver top-notch technology products that are not only interactive and captivating but also of the highest quality. Duties and Responsibilities: Create intuitive and visually compelling user interfaces (UI) and user experiences (UX) that enhance the overall usability and enjoyment of our AR application Collaborate closely with product owners, stakeholders, frontend developers, and AR specialists to understand project requirements, user needs, and technical constraints Conduct user research, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gather insights and inform design decisions Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to visualize and communicate design concepts, interactions, and navigation paths Design high-fidelity and low-fidelity UI mockups and visual designs using Figma or comparable tool, ensuring consistency, accessibility, and scalability across all screens and devices Iterate on designs based on feedback from stakeholders, usability testing results, and market trends, to continuously improve the user experience Work closely with software engineers and product owner to ensure seamless implementation of designs, providing design specifications, assets, and guidance throughout the development process Stay updated on the latest design trends, tools, and best practices, and share knowledge and insights with the team to elevate the quality of our designs Minimum Qualifications: Passion for the AR/VR/XR space Strong interpersonal and communication skills Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team consisting of a product owner, designers, software engineers, QA testers and stakeholders within an agile environment Capability to independently execute assigned development tasks and provide regular status updates Basic understanding of distributed/cloud technologies, including cloud services, web APIs, and Serverless Deployment concepts Preferred Qualifications: Experience or interest in Figma or comparable tool Job Type: Intern Experience: Entry level Design and Development Language: English (Required) Work Location: Remote
