Position Overview:
Responsible for developing, managing, implementing, and evaluating all aspects of the Kirkhof College of Nursing's marketing and communications functions including print and online modalities, website, lobby monitor, and social media. Also plays a key role, in collaboration with the Office of Student Affairs, in the development, implementation, and evaluation of undergraduate and graduate student recruitment efforts. Reports to the Dean of the Kirkhof College of Nursing.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing and Communications Develops and manages the implementation of an integrated marketing plan and branding efforts for the college Assists and supports college leadership and faculty with communication initiatives and opportunities Develops, oversees and manages KCON's monthly e-newsletter, event marketing and promotion, and promotional materials for KCON programs (videos, flyers, posters, etc.), including collaborating with outside contractors (e.g. graphic design, videography, etc.) Solicits, reviews and manages RFP's related to advertising and marketing initiatives and facilitates implementation of contracts and services Develops content and manages maintenance of college websites, lobby monitor, and social media efforts. Collaborates with communications and marketing resources across the university, and participates in internal and external marketing/communications committees, representatives and groups. Develops, writes, and edits content for stories, news releases, and executive summaries of any publications Conducts marketing research and data analytics as needed Other duties as assigned Recruitment
Develop and implement comprehensive recruitment plans for undergraduate and graduate nursing students, in collaboration with College leadership and the Office of Student Affairs personnel, to meet enrollment goals. Represent KCON both on and off-campus to prospective students and other individuals or organizations involved in the nursing college selection process. Serve as a liaison for KCON (in-person and virtual) to foster and maintain relationships with individual prospects utilizing appropriate sales, marketing, and client lead techniques. Establish and maintain internal and external relationships to generate prospective student inquiries and applications for admission to KCON. Assist in the development of enrollment marketing materials and communication strategies. Provide support at information sessions, open houses, and other recruitment and yield events. Non-Essential Functions:
None Required Education:
Master's degree required in business, communications, marketing or related field. Required Experience:
3-5 years experience in business development, marketing, communications, recruitment, and social media Strong verbal and written communication skills Professional presence and ability to successfully develop relationships at all levels within organizations Experience developing and maintaining strategic plans, branding, websites and online presence Preferred experience:
Higher education/nursing education experience Graphic design experience Salary & Benefits : Minimum starting salary is $74,000; commensurate with experience.
