About the Role

CookUnity is looking for a strategic and creative

Content Marketing Manager

to join our Growth Marketing team. In this role, you will shape and execute a content strategy that drives organic growth, enhances brand visibility, and aligns seamlessly across Growth and Brand Marketing initiatives. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact, SEO-optimized content that resonates with our audience and supports CookUnity's mission to deliver chef-crafted meals nationwide. Key Responsibilities

Content Strategy and Planning Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy and editorial calendar that supports company goals and integrates efforts across Growth Marketing, Brand Marketing, and other teams. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, SEO, Design, and Chef Success, to ensure consistency and alignment in messaging across channels. Content Creation and Management

Lead the creation of high-quality, engaging, and SEO-optimized content for blogs, organic landing pages, web, and app properties. Oversee content production for additional channels, including email, social media, and paid campaigns, ensuring consistency in brand voice and quality. Manage and mentor freelance writers, editors, and content creators to deliver on-brand and timely content. SEO and Performance Optimization

Partner with the SEO team to integrate data-driven insights into content strategies, improving search rankings and driving organic traffic. Track, measure, and analyze content performance to optimize strategies and ensure measurable impact on key KPIs. Video and Multimedia Content

Collaborate with the video content team to align visual storytelling with the overarching content strategy and reinforce key brand messages. Cross-Functional Support

Provide content expertise to teams such as Portfolio, Menu Optimization, and Chef Success, creating targeted materials that support customer needs, product offerings, and strategic goals. What You'll Bring

Experience and Expertise Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field-or equivalent experience. 5+ years of experience in content marketing, strategy, or a related role, preferably in fast-paced environments such as e-commerce or subscription services. Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with a sharp eye for brand voice and detail. Proven track record of developing and executing successful content strategies that drive engagement and results. Deep understanding of SEO best practices and experience leveraging tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, or Ahrefs. Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Contentful, Webflow) and cross-channel content distribution (blog, email, social, paid media). Collaboration and Communication

Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence without authority. Strong project management skills, able to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Mindset and Work Style

Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and customer-centric content. Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented, with a bias toward action and delivering results. Comfortable thriving in a hybrid or remote-first work environment.

Compensation All final pay rates will be determined by candidates experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.

Pay Range for this position

$100,000-$108,000 USD
