The Vice President of National Digital Marketing is responsible for overseeing and leading the overall digital marketing strategy across the nation, managing all aspects of online marketing campaigns. This position ensures our digital strategy touches all demographics of people with the primary purpose of increasing revenue and exposure. This role will ensure alignment with Childhelp's mission to eradicate child abuse by leveraging digital platforms to amplify national awareness, attract new donors to our pipeline, and increase donor engagement. This position will excel in developing innovative digital campaigns, optimizing digital channels, and leading a high-performing team to achieve measurable impact. This position will work out of our corporate headquarters in Scottsdale, AZ, and will work occasional weekends for special national events. Essential Functions: Strategy and Ideation Develop and implement a comprehensive digital marketing strategy aligned with Childhelp's overarching goals. Plan marketing initiatives that support the approved marketing strategy. Oversee the allocation and optimization of the digital marketing budgets for all campaigns. Stay abreast of emerging digital trends and technologies to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of the digital landscape. Implement continuous improvement processes to enhance digital marketing initiatives. Lead integrated campaigns incorporating paid, thought leadership, email, event, public relations, podcasting, SEO, and affiliate programs to drive engagement and conversions. Managing Third-Party and Vendors: Collaborate with and oversee third-party digital marketing and public relations agencies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and budget. Evaluate and manage vendor relationships to maximize cost-effectiveness and campaign efficiency, positioning Childhelp as the leading authority in child abuse prevention and treatment. Data Analysis and Optimization: Analyze paid and organic campaign performance metrics to inform data-driven decision-making. Monitor KPIs to measure the success of campaigns. Provide quarterly reports on KPIs and ROAs, recommending adjustments to maximize impact and efficiency. Develop and implement A/B testing strategies to optimize campaigns for engagement and conversions. Team Leadership and Collaboration: Build and manage a digital marketing team, fostering a culture of passion, collaboration, and accountability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Philanthropy, Programs, National Events, and Founders, to ensure cohesive messaging and campaign effectiveness. Lead, mentor, and develop the digital marketing team to achieve high performance. Digital Asset Management: Oversee the maintenance and optimization of the organization's website, ensuring a user-friendly experience and alignment with accessibility standards. Manage email marketing platforms, digital advertising, and donor acquisition funnels to grow the organization's supporter base. Education/Experience/Knowledge/Understanding: Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field. 8+ years of experience in digital marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Proven track record of developing and implementing successful digital marketing campaigns. Expertise in digital advertising, SEO, SEM, email marketing, analytics, and social media. Proficiency in tools such as Google Analytics, MailChimp, Meta Business, Asana, Blackbaud, and fundamental comprehension of WordPress. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies and tactics. Excellent communication and leadership skills with a collaborative approach. Passion for Childhelp's mission and understanding of the nonprofit sector is highly desirable. Skills: Strong verbal, written, and listening communication skills to include communicating clearly, effectively, tactfully, and patiently to a diverse population. Strong transcription skills. Strong interpersonal skills and demeanor with the ability to build rapport and garner trust with others. Strong project coordination skills such as planning, organizing, prioritizing, and collaborating with others to achieve group goals. Proficient in the use of a PC in a Windows environment, the Internet, and MS Office Applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Abilities: Ability to handle a variety of tasks, effectively prioritize, and ensure follow-through.
