This position is the primary point of contact for our clients and requires experience with building and maintaining strong client relationships, as 80% of CMN business comes from repeat partnership and referrals. The Account Director is a mentor and coach to junior team members, fostering growth and expertise while driving a positive team culture encouraging collaboration, respect, and quality. This position will also contribute to Business Development efforts and growing CMN's overall Experiential Marketing division.Primary Job ResponsibilitiesLead development and management of experiential marketing clients, brand campaigns, sponsorships, projects and eventsTrain, manage and supervise teams of 2-3 direct reports and larger temporary event staffLead and supervise assigned account team's day-to-day activities internal/external weekly updates on project development and management, client meeting preparation, etc.Act as the main liaison between clients and internal departments, ensuring seamless communication and collaborationDevelop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and objectives to deliver tailored solutions and grow key accountsRespond promptly to client inquiries, concerns, and requests, providing timely updates and resolutionsLead Brand strategy and proposals in response to client briefsBuild and oversee budgets for client and CMN executive approvalsOversee client spendings to ensure teams are staying within budgetOversees all client invoicing and invoice tracking for assigned projects and client teamsOversee client timelines through campaign life cycle to ensure team is accomplishing tasksTrack and analyze program performance against KPIsIdentify areas and proposes solutions for streamlining efficiencies in regard to processes between project teams, departments, etc.Business Development TasksIdentify opportunities for new business revenue and brand sponsorsParticipate in RFP pitchesDevelop marketing materials and proposals for new business opportunitiesRequirementsA bachelor's degree in communications or business OR at least 8+ years of related experienceProven track record of successful client relationships and strategic account managementExperience developing business and sponsorship proposalsMust be proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and the entire Microsoft Suite Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and a confident/assertive demeanor in relation to negotiations and professionalism Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent and ongoing knowledge of the brands and current on brand trends Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision Proficient with office applications and apple devices Excellent organizational skills with proven ability to execute projects on time and within budget Comfortable working in high pressure environment with strict deadlines Available to travel 40-60% of the time with or without advance notice as required to meet client needs Available to extend hours and work weekends when needed to meet client needs and deliverablesTravel40-60% based on current assigned projectsBenefitsMedical Dental Vision Life Insurance STD/LTD PTO Paid Holidays 401k Retirement Plan AEG reserves the right to change or modify the employee's job description whether orally or in writing, at any time during the employment relationship.
