Role Description


Elevation Marketing is looking for Sr. Content Copywriter (B2B). This is a full-time on-site role (with two work-from-home days a month or four half-days) located in the greater Phoenix area. This role involves developing and creating engaging long form copy and content, developing content strategies, conducting research, writing persuasive copy for both traditional and digital media forms, and ensuring high-quality proofreading.

 

Key Qualifications

  • Experience in developing compelling and engaging content
  • Experience with writing B2B branding & marketing content
  • Experience writing video scripts, and sales collateral and more, for the purpose of building content, brands and driving demand.
  • Experience with branding, positioning, and messaging copy for both general brand and product
  • Experience with writing long form content like white papers, thought leadership pieces, case studies, etc.
  • Web Content Writing and Writing skills
  • Marketing and Proofreading skills
  • Knowledge of B2B marketing strategies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in developing content strategies and conducting research
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Capable of working with internal and external stakeholders a Sr. Levels of Fortune 500 brands to develop messaging, positioning and branding content.
  • Create and adhere to strategic direction and tone, and negotiate changes as needed.
  • Able to translate technical or complex ideas into concise, business-oriented brand, messages, positions plus the ability to create digestible content out of those complex ideas.
  • Able to time manage and juggle multiple projects, both strategic and tactical, simultaneously
  • Understands digital technology and how to use it to enhance the creative idea
  • Able to think strategically and produce concepts independently
  • Great ability to craft clear and coherent product, brand, positioning and messaging copy
  • Self-disciplined, self-motivating, and self-improving
  • Passionate about your work but receptive to feedback and direction
  • Work quickly and juggle a large workload while maintaining quality standards
  • Advertising or marketing agency experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Marketing, Communications, or related field


Key Responsibilities:

  • Write and edit content across all channels that may include, B2B print, direct mail, email, collateral, and marketing materials (product sheets, case studies, white papers), interactive, web, mobile, etc.
  • Guide and create brand and positing tools, documents, and messaging tools to help drive brands and products forward
  • Lead content strategic work across some of our B2B clients.
  • Write strong B2B copy and content for various technology companies, as well as manufacturing, agriculture, industrial, and other industries, as needed
  • Help develop brand and product "stories" that connect products and brands to their customers
  • Work closely with project teams to brainstorm ideas, create unique concepts, and develop messaging for new campaigns and other requested materials
  • Share and present ideas to senior team members, clients and CMO’s.
  • Follow industry best practices and supplied guidelines/style guides
  • Partner with other team members to develop ideas that are on-brief and on-strategy
  • Manage content teams to plan, analyze, organize, and execute assigned projects
  • Maintain stewardship of client’s tone, voice, and brand standards
  • Create a range of ideas and copy that supports the concepts

In Office Culture

 

At Elevation, we enjoy being in office together and we are passionate about culture, collaboration, learning and the community that it creates, and we are looking for employees who value this as well. We were meant to work together, not alone!


All our roles are full-time on-site role, with two work-from-home days a month or four half days a month and we are flexible when it come to “life emergencies” that requires additional flexibility from time to time. We are closed between Christmas and New Years.


We do offer flexible hours based on client demands and department structure and typically that means an employee may be able to start at any time between 7 AM and 9 AM and finish between 4 PM and 6 PM.


Compensation and Benefits

Elevation strives to provide some of the best agency compensation and benefit packages in the great southwest. The job is in Gilbert, AZ (just off Loop 202 expressway) and less than one mile from over 50 restaurants. Elevation pays for 95% of employee’s life, health and long-term disability insurance. Elevation offers vision, dental and a variety of other benefits that an employee can purchase. The kitchen area is full of free snacks and beverages. Tuition reimbursement is available. The salary range for this position will vary depending on experience and skills outlined above.
