Video Editor Job at Yetch.Studio in Los Angeles

An LA YouTuber/E-commerce Store Owner is looking for a full-time video editor to assist with post production of YouTube videos, social media videos and ads. This position will be (mostly) remote.

Requirements:

• Must be local to Los Angeles (media transfer via hard drive, occasional in person meetings) 
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro. All work must be edited in Premiere Pro. 
• A good sense of humor! Our editor may be asked to cut old youtube videos into Instagram Reels or TikToks. There is a lot of creative freedom in this process and a good sense of humor is key. 
• Some proficiency in color-grading (via Premiere or Resolve). We are not expecting you to be a professional colorist, but our footage is shot in SLOG3 and will need to be graded.
• The ability to manage multiple projects at once. This position will be split between editing the creator’s personal YouTube and social media content alongside content for their E-commerce store. Editor will work closely with the producer on the YouTube side and Head of Marketing for the brand.
• Organization skills. Editor will be responsible for tracking the progress of each video and associated notes via a project management tool.

Nice to have: 

• Ability to make simple animations via After Effects.
• Proficiency in the rest of the Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc)
