Assignment Desk Editor Job at Weigel Broadcasting Co. in Milwaukee

WDJT-TV, Weigel Broadcasting’s CBS affiliate in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is searching for an Assignment Desk Editor. A successful candidate must be extremely organized with an aptitude for logistics and have the ability to excel in a fast-paced, competitive newsroom.

Duties include:

1. Monitoring scanner traffic
2. Helping the team to manage daily assignments
3. Reaching out for information to update our stories
4. Assisting reporters with contacts and follows
5. Effectively communicating coverage plans to newsroom staff

This position is early mornings, Monday - Friday.
