Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Operations Director, this role helps Dimensional Innovations and its holding companies amplify our stories, fuel conversations off and online, and generate high-level validation for our work and its purpose. The Multimedia Content Specialist will execute the end-to-end creation of video, photo and audio content intended for internal and external distribution. This includes but is not limited to: setup, filming, editing, motion graphics and exporting to the proper formats for final delivery.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/FUNCTIONS may include but are not limited to:
- Serve as lead contact for creating captivating video content and photography to showcase DI and its holding companies’ services, culture and brand stories.
- Assist Marketing, Project Management and Creative teams with developing an initial story or concept into a production-feasible planned project.
- Manage all aspects of multimedia production to ensure components of projects unfold as planned.
- Provide setup and recording for single-camera (and facilitation of multi-camera) video productions, including camera, lighting and microphone placement.
- Implement the project vision in post-production by editing video and audio content through to completion to meet pre-established deadlines, including motion graphics design, color correction, audio sweetening, and final asset creation while maintaining the existing style, look, and feel of video and audio content.
- Coordinate, manage and reinforce the company brand and voice in digital assets, including video, motion graphics, and audio for the website, social media and other platforms.
- Utilize multiple video and audio codecs during editing and exporting, adhering to specifications of multiple digital delivery platforms.
- Maintain new employee photos and updates of photos on company websites.
- As necessary, assist with the development of client RFP presentations and behind-the-scenes documentation for any photography or video needs.
- Work with Marketing Designer to ensure all final content is centrally locatable and saved appropriately.
- Travel to project sites and company events as needed.
- Continue to explore how DI and holding companies’ employees & projects are highlighted for internal and external use cases.
- Other marketing/storytelling duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Skilled with 4k DSLR cameras, microphones, and video and audio recording methodologies and best practices, including lighting and camera setup.
- Proficiency with video and photo editing software (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Adobe Creative Cloud).
- Ability to travel out of state multiple times a year.
- Ability to manage multiple project deadlines simultaneously.
- Ability to work within approved budgets.
- Ability to serve as a conversation starter and storyteller.
- Continually stay up to date on best practices and trends.
- Ability to lead with vision and autonomy while being a flexible collaborator.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including but not limited to email, text, and phone communication.
- Excellent project management and organization abilities.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION/EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Social Media Marketing and/or experience being a Content Creator is required.
- 5+ years’ experience with photo/video/audio/editing required.
- Documented success generating engagement on a national / global level (demonstrated via multimedia portfolio and references).
- Experience with messaging corporate social responsibility.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, climb, crouch, or crawl.
- The employee must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
- Employee must be able to talk and hear.
