Senior Creative Designer

Job Summary: Develop high-quality internal creative concepts and designs that bring H-E-B’s story, strategy, and culture to life for Partners. Work within the H-E-B Corporate Communication Department as a member of the H-E-B Multimedia Team alongside videographers and motion graphic designers.

Responsibilities:

  1. Enhance H-E-B Partners’ commitment to and understanding of H-E-B’s mission, vision, and values with engaging graphic design assets for both print and digital formats.
  2. Bring H-E-B’s story, strategy, and executive messages to life through graphic design for internal corporate communication.
  3. Conceptualize and execute high-impact brand strategies for large, internal company meetings and events, alongside corporate communications advisors and multimedia team members, to support live event production and presentations.
  4. Collaborate and build relationships with team members, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to translate business goals and objectives into creative solutions.
  5. Manage multiple projects and minimize timelines to increase speed to market without sacrificing quality.
  6. Create, grow, and maintain H-E-B’s internal brand standards/style guide, and serve as an ambassador to ensure a consistent visual experience across H-E-B’s departments and channels.
  7. Provide creative support to leaders and executives, with a significant emphasis on delivering prompt, accurate, and dynamic presentation design.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  1. A related degree or comparable formal training, certification, or work experience.
  2. 7+ years of successful experience as a Creative Designer (mid-level and above).
  3. 7+ years of graphic design conceptual experience (preferred).
  4. Experience with employee communication, internal corporate campaigns, and executive messaging.
  5. Experience in brand design.

  1. Proficiency in Adobe Software (InDesign, Illustrator).
  2. Leadership skills.
  3. Verbal/written communication skills.
  4. Ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines.
  5. Great attention to detail.

Physical and Other Requirements:

  1. Function in a fast-paced, retail, office environment.
  2. Travel by car or plane with overnight stays.
  3. Work extended hours if needed.
