The Program Aide Course Editor & Reviewer, under general supervision, is responsible for supporting the development of hybrid, or online courses for the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (COALS). Ensure courses are compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
Responsibilities:
Collaborates with instructional design staff to review and edit online, blended, and web-enhanced courses in Canvas.
Evaluates course materials for quality control, functionality, and accessibility.
Assists with accessibility-related course development tasks, such as formatting PowerPoints, writing alt text for images, remediating PDFs, and captioning.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in applicable field.
Course review or course accessibility experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Basic Microsoft Office skills.
Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
Fluent in English language.
