Library Aide - Jr. High
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 9 months
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must Pass Physical Capabilities Test
- Knowledge of basic subjects taught in schools, including math, grammar, spelling, language and reading
- Basic instructional methods and techniques
- Correct usage, grammar, spelling, punctuation and vocabulary
- Oral and written communication skills
- Interpersonal skills using tact, patience and courtesy
- High School diploma or equivalent
- One of the following:
60 College Credit hours: or
Associates Degree or Higher: or
Missouri Para Pro Assessment Passing Score (before 9/23/13) per DESE 6/22; or
Missouri Para Pro Assessment Passing Score (after 9/23/13) per DESE 6/22; or
Completed Missouri's 20 Hour online substitute training program
JOB SUMMARY
The Library Aide works with the librarian, assisting with day to day operations of the library.
