Your Career
The Senior Product Marketing Manager for Unit 42 Managed Detection and Response (MDR) will spearhead the product marketing strategy for our rapidly expanding managed services business. This includes crafting sharp positioning and driving go-to-market (GTM) programs to enhance MDR customer adoption.
Your Impact
Collaborate with our MDR team to communicate impactful messages that establish Unit 42 as the foremost managed detection and response provider.
Create compelling product marketing content, including blogs, reports, videos, and presentations centered on Unit 42 MDR.
Monitor the MDR market and competitive landscape in coordination with product, marketing, and sales leadership.
Launch marketing campaigns and initiatives, producing materials for digital media, websites, and customer presentations.
Lead analyst engagements and presentations to enhance awareness and obtain external insights.
Empower sales teams by articulating the value proposition and unique differentiators – deliver presentations at internal sales events demonstrating how Unit 42 stands apart across Palo Alto Networks offerings.
Collaborate with other Unit 42 teams to contribute to annual research reports that drive awareness and generate thought leadership about the threat landscape.
Oversee product launches, planning for new products and releases while managing messaging, positioning, collateral development, and driving overall launch strategy.
Your Experience
8+ years of product marketing experience, with at least 5 years in the cybersecurity sector.
Proven experience developing and leading innovative GTM programs to foster customer adoption.
Understanding of Threat Intelligence, Incident Response, and Managed Detection & Response (MDR), along with familiarity with enterprise security SOC roles.
Skilled in delivering presentations across diverse environments, from industry conferences to customer briefings.
Demonstrated success working cross-functionally to drive sales, demand generation, and wider organizational success.
Bachelor's degree required; a technical degree or equivalent background is desirable.
Driven by innovative energy to lead successful market and competitive disruption strategies.

Compensation Disclosure
The compensation for this position will vary based on qualifications, experience, and location. For candidates at the posted level, the expected starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is between $155,000 - $252,000 per year. Additional compensation may include restricted stock units and bonuses.
