The Role As we scale, we are seeking a SVP of Marketing to own and drive new customer growth. This role requires an innovative, high-speed thinker who thrives on testing, iterating, and executing bold customer acquisition strategies at scale. You'll be responsible for unlocking scalable growth—developing, testing, and executing high-impact customer acquisition strategies across paid media, performance marketing, and emerging channels. You must be obsessed with finding new customers, experimenting rapidly, and optimizing performance marketing with a relentless focus on efficiency and scale. Key Responsibilities: Own and Scale Customer Acquisition Develop and execute high-impact, scalable strategies to drive new customer growth. Test and experiment aggressively across new channels—creator partnerships, influencer marketing, sponsorships, direct response advertising, emerging media, and referral programs. Build and refine growth funnels to convert trial customers into repeat buyers and long-term subscribers. Own and Drive Performance Marketing Lead full-funnel performance marketing across paid social, search, programmatic, affiliate, and emerging digital channels. Optimize media investments for maximum CAC efficiency, constantly iterating to improve LTV and conversion rates. Develop data-driven strategies that continuously improve Trade’s marketing mix and unlock scale. Test and refine campaign messaging, audience targeting, and ad creative to improve performance across channels. Partner with Product and UX teams to improve landing pages and conversion flows for paid acquisition. Rapid Iteration and Channel Exploration Operate in a high-speed, test-and-learn mode—constantly launching new tests, learning fast, and scaling winners. Continuously evaluate and invest in new channels that have the potential to drive efficient growth. Leverage data-driven insights to refine messaging, targeting, and creative strategy for max impact. Unlock the Power of the Creator Economy & Influencer Marketing Develop and scale a creator and influencer-driven growth engine, leveraging social proof, authentic recommendations, and viral moments. Identify and activate the right partners (content creators, influencers, micro-creators, podcast hosts, etc.) to introduce new audiences to Trade. Drive acquisition through organic and paid influencer partnerships, testing different approaches and compensation models. Experiment with UGC, affiliate partnerships, sponsorships, and emerging formats to drive performance. Team Leadership and Cross-Functional Collaboration Build and lead a world-class growth Marketing team. Partner closely with the Product, Media, and Data teams to ensure marketing efforts align with Trade’s goals. Collaborate with roaster partners to identify new co-marketing opportunities that expand reach. You Have… 8+ years of DTC growth marketing experience with a focus on new customer acquisition. Expertise in paid media, performance marketing, influencer partnerships, and digital growth. A strong track record of building and scaling customer acquisition channels profitably. Experience leading teams in fast-paced, high-growth environments. A test-and-learn mindset with proven experience launching, iterating, and scaling new channels. A deep understanding of CAC, LTV, retention funnels, and digital marketing optimization. Office Guidelines While we operate in a hybrid-first environment, the office is open and available for all Monday through Friday. Team members are expected to spend at least three days (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) in-office each week. Salary ranges are determined through alignment with market data. Base salary offered is determined by a number of factors including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and skills. NYC Base Salary Range $200,000-$240,000 In addition, Trade offers comprehensive benefits, including company-paid health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including vacation time and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies.
