Nalu is seeking an experienced Director, Downstream Marketing to lead and execute commercial marketing strategies for our neuromodulation product portfolio. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this individual will be responsible for driving market adoption, revenue growth, and customer engagement in the U.S. medical device market. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing leadership within the neuromodulation or broader medical device industry, preferably with implantable technologies, with a track record of successful product commercialization and go-to-market execution.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute strategic downstream marketing plans to drive adoption, revenue, and competitive differentiation for neuromodulation products Lead product positioning, messaging, and branding strategies to support commercial execution Partner closely with sales teams to develop and implement tools and marketing campaigns that enhance customer engagement and sales effectiveness Drive product launch excellence by collaborating with upstream marketing, R&D, regulatory, and commercial teams Collaborate on market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities for differentiation Develop and manage marketing budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation to achieve business goals Drive digital marketing initiatives, including social media, website optimization, and targeted campaigns to enhance market reach Support collaborations with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and professional societies to build brand credibility and advocacy Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to optimize marketing strategies and ensure measurable business impact Oversee Marketing events and tradeshows Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred) 10+ years of marketing experience in the medical device industry, with at least 5 years in neuromodulation or a related therapeutic area Demonstrated experience in downstream marketing, commercial strategy, and product lifecycle management Strong background in leading product launches and go-to-market execution Experience working with sales organizations to drive market penetration Proven ability to lead and mentor a team, driving both individual and organizational success Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies, and to measure tactical performance Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders across different departments Deep understanding of digital marketing, content strategy, and demand generation Knowledge of regulatory and compliance considerations in the medical device industry

Pay Range:

$180,000 - $200,000 per year
