We’re seeking a
Digital Marketing Manager
who is equal parts storyteller, strategist, and doer. This is an opportunity to join as our first marketing hire, shaping the future of our brand and playing a pivotal role in driving our mission forward. You’ll be responsible for crafting compelling narratives, building a strong brand presence, and managing diverse marketing initiatives to elevate Terradot’s visibility and impact. San Francisco, CA Role Responsibilities: Storytelling:
Distill complex scientific research into clear, engaging, and inspiring narratives for diverse audiences, including investors, policymakers, and the public. Create impactful content across various formats—substack posts, newsletters, press releases, LinkedIn, and more.
Digital Marketing Campaigns:
Plan, execute, and optimize digital marketing campaigns in tandem with our PR strategy leading up to COP30. Manage and grow Terradot’s LinkedIn presence with a consistent and compelling brand voice.
Design & Branding:
Ability to develop simple on-brand visuals and marketing materials using tools like Canva, Photoshop, or Figma. Collaborate on refining Terradot’s brand identity to reflect its mission and vision.
Event Marketing:
Plan and execute company events and speaking appearances for the team.
Data-Driven Insights:
Track and analyze key metrics to measure the success of campaigns and strategies, using insights to improve performance.
Background and Requirements: Proven experience and success in a similar role, ideally within startups, climate tech, or mission-driven organizations.
Solid design skills with tools like Canva, Photoshop, or Figma.
Exceptional writing skills to simplify scientific research into compelling stories.
Experience planning and executing events, from webinars to in-person gatherings.
Highly organized self-starter who can manage multiple projects and priorities.
Nice to haves: Familiarity with SEO best practices and website management (e.g., Framer).
Knowledge of email marketing tools like Mailchimp or HubSpot.
Strong network of creative collaborators.
Portuguese speaking.
Personal Attributes: Passionate about tackling the climate crisis and advancing meaningful solutions.
A collaborative, can-do attitude and willingness to wear multiple hats.
Highly adaptable and thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments.
Confidence to independently drive initiatives pulling key voices and resources.
