Base pay range

$70,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr

Blackberg is seeking an experienced videographer to support federal clients in telling the stories that their mission impacts and promoting their services to the public. This individual may support a broad range of multi-media products, including program overviews, testimonial videos, photographic story-telling campaigns, trade show presentations, and animated short videos. The successful candidate will also have the ability to capture professional photography while onsite.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full video lifecycle, including pre-production, production, and post-production.
• Consult clients on video storyboards and production process.
• Advise clientele on the optimal multi-media product for their given need (i.e., social media reel, video series, or full-length production).
• Film video on set and on location in diverse environments.
• Set up and take down cameras, microphones, lighting, props, and other equipment.
• Edit footage after recording, taking into account color grading, audio mixing, motion graphics, transitions, and overall tone.
• Incorporate computer graphics, closed captioning, and special effects footage.
• Create video reels and series for social media.
• Produce “evergreen” video products for Blackberg and clients.
• Support stop motion and short video animations for events.
• Capture photography of events, onsite processes, and personnel portraits.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of demonstrated experience in videography and visual/digital communications.
• Experience filming in out-of-studio locations, such as medical facilities or factories.
• Experience in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly After Effects.
• Demonstrated experience in the Adobe Creative Suite.
• Preferred experience supporting federal government clientele.
