Role: Senior Creative Director

Location: Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey

About the role:

As a member of our Creative department, you will inspire and lead a creative team to influence change through ideas, creativity, and the use of technology. This role will leverage your extensive background in the Beauty industry to develop high-quality creative. You will make a difference in digital communications, marketing, and advertising, contributing to OLIVER’s founding values: Ambition, Imagination, Inclusion, Inspiration, Learning, and Results.

What you will be doing:

  • Deliver and inspire award-winning work from both yourself and others, influencing dramatic change through ideas, creativity, and the use of technology.
  • Consistently deliver successful solutions and high-quality work to clients on time.
  • Ensure high levels of client and team satisfaction.
  • Maintain high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Learn new skills and stay abreast of technical and digital developments to improve processes.
  • Participate in pitches and deliver proactive work to drive organic growth.
  • Create award-winning work across all relevant client consumer touchpoints.
  • Review concepts and design work, providing effective direction and feedback.
  • Prioritise multiple projects to maintain high creativity and delivery.
  • Resolve key strategic issues with a high degree of creativity.
  • Manage client expectations and communicate appropriately.
  • Foster a collaborative work environment across the company.
  • Provide feedback and consultation with all levels of staff.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of the creative industry to produce world-class work.
  • Support industry events to raise OLIVER's profile externally.
  • Lead the development of relationships with appropriate colleges across the client's network.
  • Motivate the Creative department to produce exceptional and commercial work.
  • Identify processes for improvement and implement changes to meet OLIVER’s standards.
  • Guide, teach, and mentor senior members of the Creative department.
  • Conduct regular team and individual meetings, including performance reviews.
  • Identify team members' training needs and support development initiatives.
  • Keep the team informed of company news and decisions.
  • Identify recruitment needs and assess potential candidates.
  • Make recommendations on financial management of the Creative department.
  • Ensure direct reports meet utilisation and billability targets.
  • Work with Resource Management to manage workload effectively.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing across accounts.

What you need to be great in this role:

  • Must have Beauty industry or CPG experience.
  • Proven experience as a Creative Director.
  • Experience in a creative/agency/consultancy environment.
  • Ability to run multiple simultaneous projects successfully.
  • Experience with AI platforms for creative campaigns and content.
  • Demonstrated success in leading collaborative teams including project planning.
  • Exceptional visual and written presentation skills.
  • Experience in various marketing platforms, including content creation and digital advertising.
  • Extensive experience with relevant software and hardware.
  • A degree in Marketing, Communications, Visual Studies, or related field preferred.
  • Creative leadership skills with the ability to provide clear direction.
  • Client liaison skills to build fruitful relationships.
  • Operational management skills to deploy team resources effectively.
  • Team development and training skills.
  • Stakeholder management skills to keep informed of project progress.

  • At the time of this posting, the base salary for this position may range from $165,000.00 to $180,000.00. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
