The Music Design Team is looking for an outstanding interface designer for all our platforms including desktop web and iOS apps. The designer will be responsible for researching, designing, and prototyping new user experiences. The candidate should be able to help build new features and behaviors that align with product goals while serving the intention of the users.
This person will adapt their designs to the realities of both internal and external systems but will strive to create Apple-caliber solutions for these customers, shepherding designs from conceptualization through iteration to pixel-perfect implementation.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities of this position also include:
- Crafting detailed interaction and pixel specs
- Preparing assets for use in a variety of platforms: engineering implementation, web use, or Keynote presentations
- Maintaining up-to-date files and uniform naming conventions
- Ensuring design consistency across all assets and products
They will have strong interpersonal skills as the position requires working closely with other designers, engineering, product marketing, and presenting to executive sponsors.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $131,500 and $198,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
