POSITION DESCRIPTION AND KEY MEASURES

Department: Retail Operations

Location: Store Location

Report to: DM

POSITION PURPOSE AND EXPECTATION:

Position Summary: We're seeking an energetic and responsible Keyholder to join our retail team. This role supports the Store Manager in daily operations while providing exceptional customer service and maintaining store standards in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, security protocols, and daily reporting
  2. Lead sales floor operations and guide team members to achieve sales goals
  3. Provide outstanding customer service and create memorable shopping experiences
  4. Support inventory management, including receiving shipments and maintaining stock levels
  5. Monitor and prevent loss through proper shrink control procedures
  6. Execute visual merchandising standards and maintain store appearance
  7. Train and mentor sales associates on company policies and procedures
  8. Assist in daily operations including POS transactions, returns, and customer inquiries

Required Qualifications:

  1. Previous retail experience, preferably in a leadership role
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  3. Proven problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
  4. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
  5. Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds
  6. Passion for fashion and retail industry trends

KEY MEASURES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

Key Performance Indicators:

  1. Cash Variance Reporting - Weekly on Fridays
  2. Variance investigations - Any variance above $50.00
  3. Zendesk ticket response - Within 48 hours
  4. Sales reconciliations - Day 3 of EOM week
  5. Monthly Turnover reporting - By 7th of each month
  6. Balance Sheet reconciliations - Day 10 of EOM week

Other duties and special projects within skill and competency level as required.
