THE JOB
The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory is seeking Cleaning Staff crew members to keep our venue show-ready and create an incredible fan experience. This position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to maintain equipment according to safety and maintenance processes to support the venue's goals.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
- Keep the venue safe and clean at all times, including cleaning and disinfecting all fixtures, floors, mirrors, doors, and walls of restrooms, keeping guest-facing areas free of trash, and restocking restroom supplies as needed.
- Keep work areas neat and orderly, clean equipment, and assist with other cleaning duties as assigned.
- Provide emergency repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs.
- Participate in the venue’s sustainability program, including sorting waste and educating fans.
- Assist with venue closing tasks after shows.
- Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines and facilities.
- Perform plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
- Use various hand and power tools in performing duties.
- Detect faulty operations and report unusual situations to supervision.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean work areas.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
- Requires a high school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or equivalent education and experience.
- Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.
- Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying 50 lbs+, and occasional sitting.
