Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the lead UX/UI designer for one or more product teams, delivering complex design solutions from conception to launch.
  • Conduct and oversee user research (interviews, surveys, usability testing).
  • Create high-fidelity wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs.
  • Design modern, efficient, learnable, and interconnected enterprise product experiences.
  • Contribute to and maintain design systems, style guides, and pattern libraries.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate design thinking workshops and brainstorming sessions.
  • Mentor and guide other designers, fostering their growth and development.
  • Stay current with UX/UI design trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Contribute to the overall design strategy and vision.
  • Contribute to the improvement of design team processes and procedures.

People Management:

  • Manage a team of designers, providing clear performance expectations and professional growth opportunities.
  • Gather performance feedback from cross-functional teams.
  • Conduct performance reviews (quarterly and annual).
  • Identify growth opportunities and create development plans for direct reports.
  • Hold regular 1:1 meetings with direct reports.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HCI, Graphic Design, or equivalent work experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in a UX/UI or Product Designer role.
  • 0-2+ years of experience managing people in a product delivery environment (we'll consider strong mentoring experience).
  • 1+ years of proven experience mentoring teammates and contributing to team skill development.
  • Mastery of Figma (required).
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating real-world projects with adherence to UX/UI principles and accessibility standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and project management skills.
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Intellectual and professional curiosity.
  • Comfort and experience in a fast-paced, growing environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Functional understanding of GitHub, React.js, and client-side APIs.
  • Experience working in data-heavy, enterprise platforms.
  • Experience in the Pharmacy Benefits or Health Insurance industry.
