Job Title: VIDEO TELECONFERENCE TECHNICIAN

Job Purpose:

The Video Teleconference Technician operates video teleconferencing equipment, assists users in sessions, monitors equipment performance, and reports issues. Responsibilities include operating audiovisual equipment and training personnel.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Interface with external agencies to resolve technical issues.
• Provide support for HQ AETC-controlled Video Teleconference (VTC) assets.
• Run slides, provide VTC dial-in support, and maintain oversight of VTC equipment.
• Be available in the event of an equipment emergency.
• Notify supervisors of major equipment repairs.
• Diagnose and resolve media system problems.
• Direct and coordinate activities during production.
• Compress, digitize, duplicate, and store audio and video data.
• Install, adjust, and operate electronic equipment for multimedia presentations.

Required Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Local Area Network (LAN) infrastructure and related support tools.
• Familiarity with video teleconference (VTC) projection systems and software.
• Minimum of "Intermediate" proficiency level certification IAW DoDM 8140.03.

Education:

• High School diploma or greater.

Experience:

• Two (2) to five (5) years in a relevant work position.
• Experience with mobile device support.
