Audio-Visual (AV) Technician Location:
United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, Washington, D.C. A client of Insight Global's is seeking a full-time AV Technician to join the Office of Information Technology. This role involves setting up, installing, operating, testing, and troubleshooting audio and video equipment, as well as supporting Museum events.
Key Responsibilities: Manage AV technology for exhibits and events. Support special events, including evenings and weekends. Perform routine system maintenance and equipment inventory. Assist with exhibit installations and transitions. Qualifications: 3-5 years of experience with AV systems integration or service. CTS certification or equivalent experience. Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently. Experience with video switchers, digital mixing consoles, and hybrid video conferencing. Excellent communication skills. Technology Profile: Video Production Switchers (Tricaster, Analog Way, Panasonic PTZ). Barco HDX Projectors, Yamaha QL-5 digital audio console. Crestron Control systems, Q-sys, Biamp, ClearOne DSP platforms. Shure wireless systems, Cisco and Netgear switches.
