Investors: Raised a total of ~$270 million. Most recently Series E round of $125 Million led by Warburg Pincus with participation from existing investor SoftBank Vision Fund 2. Other investors include Cisco Investments, Eight Roads Ventures (A division of Fidelity Investments), Dragoneer Investments, Peak XV Partners, and Stellaris Venture Partners.
This role will take ownership of our eBook and whitepaper content strategy, ensuring alignment with GTM functions and audience needs. You'll work cross-functionally with content, product marketing, design, and brand teams to identify content gaps and opportunities to enhance our thought leadership.
This role will also support new content marketing functions, like supporting GTM campaigns by contextually repurposing content for specific industries, ICPs, and use cases. The right candidate will be comfortable in front of a camera and talking to customers, analysts, ICPs, and prospects, building a repository of industry leader quotes, video, and research that enables our entire writing team to create ICP-first content.

Responsibilities:
- Own the strategy, creation, and optimization of eBooks and whitepapers, ensuring they effectively nurture leads through TOFU/MOFU stages
- Repurpose existing content to create tailored content that supports GTM motions for different sectors and use cases
- Conduct customer and ICP research to build a library of video content to add authenticity and thought leadership to our content. From repurposing existing customer video case studies, meetups, and webinars, to interviewing new thought leaders and ICPs from LinkedIn, to documenting new analyst research and trends to make it easier for our writers to access
- Support core content marketing functions to optimize current operations, existing content, conversions, and engagement metrics
- Support content distribution initiatives. Engage with Reddit, Quora, and other online communities to drive engagement to Whatfix content and product pages. Reach out to content managers and publishers that cover related topics and themes
- Leverage AI tools like ChatGPT to streamline content creation, enhance research efficiency, and drive data-informed content strategy
- Scrappy and ready to instantly contribute to a high-performing content marketing team
- Comfortable working collaboratively between content, product marketers, and designers to take a concept from ideation to finished project
- Experience creating content that supports larger marketing campaigns
- Experience packaging and repurposing existing content into new content types, like ebooks, email campaigns, articles, etc
- Experience creating MOFU-gated content like eBooks and whitepapers
- Comfortable connecting with customers and ICPs to interview via video calls and recording video content in our San Jose studio
- Experience with a SaaS content marketing team
- Familiar with using ChatGPT to improve productivity and efficiency
- Experience with Ahrefs, Wordpress, GA4
- Experience with Airtable is a big plus
