Role Overview: We are seeking a talented and motivated Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with our interior design, architecture, and construction teams to deliver an exceptional residential design process for our clients. This role requires active participation in client meetings, material procurement and selections, as well as the creation of comprehensive design throughout the home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop innovative and functional interior design concepts that align with client needs and project goals.
- Collaborate with architecture and construction teams to ensure design feasibility and adherence to project timelines.
- Lead client meetings to present design ideas, gather feedback, and make necessary adjustments.
- Select and specify materials, finishes, furnishings, and fixtures that meet both aesthetic and budgetary requirements.
- Prepare detailed drawings, renderings, and documentation to communicate design intent effectively.
- Manage sign offs and budget on all selection item, within our deadlines, to keep the project moving.
- Stay updated on industry trends, building codes, and sustainable design practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field.
- 5 years+ of experience in residential interior design, preferably within a design-build environment.
- Proficiency in design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Canva.
- Strong understanding of construction processes and the ability to read architectural plans.
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills, with a focus on client service.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with FF&E a plus
- NCIDQ certification preferred
Salary Range: $70,000-$90,000. Depends on experience and qualifications.
