Description
The Program in World Literatures at Smith College invites applications for a one-year, full time benefits eligible position at the rank of Lecturer to begin July 1, 2025.
This position is responsible for teaching five courses, including Topics in World Literatures and at least one course in African literature. The remaining courses taught will depend on the candidate's field(s) of specialization. Ph.D. in Comparative and/or World Literatures or a relevant field such as Translation Studies is expected by the time of appointment.
Located in Northampton, MA, Smith College is the largest women's college in the country and is dedicated to excellence in teaching and research across the liberal arts.
