Job Summary
The Alabama Cooperative Extension System is seeking a Media Production Specialist, this position is located on the campus of Auburn University.
The Alabama Cooperative Extension System is seeking
Media Production Specialist I/II to provide expertise in graphic design and multimedia support to statewide programs in Agriculture and Forestry, Human Sciences, 4-H and Urban Extension. This position will be responsible for creating, marketing, and designing content for a variety of digital and print media, including web-based solutions, social media, print publications, graphics, online courses, and video, with the goal of promoting Alabama Extension messages to designated target audiences.
As a member of the ACES Communications, Strategic Marketing, and Client Relations team, the incumbent will coordinate graphics support for print, web and e-newsletters, photography, online programs, and video production via Adobe Creative Suite and other software tools.

Essential Functions
Produces and manages visual content for specific program areas
Coordinates print and distribution methods with outside vendors
Provides training and professional support to Extension staff and educators
Follows all ACES branding guidelines and production processes
Works successfully in a creative team environment
Assists in management of Creative Services team
Successfully represents Alabama Extension in both academic and creative communities
Manages multiple concurrent tasks and meets all deadlines
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Communications, Marketing, Advertising, Broadcasting, Film or Television Production, Computer Graphics or related field
Level II-
Bachelor's degree plus 2 year of experience providing creative, technical, or support services for various medias.
Level III-
Bachelor's degree plus 4 years of experience providing creative, technical, or support services for various medias.
Substitution allowed for Education : When a candidate has the required experience, but lacks the required education, they may normally apply additional relevant experience toward the education requirement, at a rate of two (2) years relevant experience per year of required education. (i.e. 8 years of experience providing creative, technical, or support services for various medias accepted in lieu of education requirement)
Substitution allowed for Experience : When a candidate has the required education, but lacks the required experience, they may normally apply additional appropriate education toward the experience requirement, at a rate of one (1) year relevant education per year of required experience.

Minimum Skills and Abilities
Proven experience in graphic design with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop) and other relevant design tools
Strong creative and conceptual thinking abilities, with an eye for detail and design aesthetics
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and articulate design concepts
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
